Rammstein set the UK ablaze! Reports, photos and set list here

This week, Rammstein gave the UK a sizzling taster of what we can expect at Knebworth in the summer as their explosive show literally set fans alight in Birmingham, Manchester and London. Their current arena tour is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular live rock shows ever staged. But don’t just take our word for it…

“From flamethrowers to firebombs, exploding babies and towers of flame, they seem to set off more effects in one song than Kiss use in an entire show!“, raved the Express & Star in their review of the Birmingham performance.

On last night (Thursday)’s London Wembley show…

Adrian Grobbelaar – “F**k yeah!! Sonisphere tickets went from ‘Yeah, I’m going again this year’ to ‘Yeah, there is no chance that I’m missing sonisphere this year!’. It was the best gig I’ve EVER been to.”

‘Zac’ – “I didn’t really know that much about Rammstein. I knew a few songs and that they usually had a big propane bill but I was completely unprepared for how goddamn entertaining they were going to be. It was theatre with the best soundtrack ever. Amazing. I can’t wait to see them play in front of the Sonisphere crowd.”

Team Sonisphere’s own Agent Barney Rubble chipped in – “The best gig I ever saw in my life was Rammstein’s first visit to the UK with the full show at Brixton. I’ve seen them loads since, and the last 2 nights just cemented them in my eyes as the best live band you could possibly see! When they take this outdoors at Sonisphere, its just gonna be on another level! Bang! Bang!”

On the previous night’s Bimingham LG Arena show…

‘Marc’ – “My god, Talk about INSANE!!!! From the get go they were immense with the crowd going balistic with pits literally everywhere. Got booted in the head while moshing mind, but didn’t stop me… Can’t F*****G wait to see them again at Sonisphere!”

Daniel Pratt – “From the start when they were using guitars as axes to hack their way on stage and all the way through using pyrotechnics and top quality showmanship, rammstein rocked the lg arena. with classic touches such as the flaming masks and sending flake into the crowd on a dinghy and some stunning new laser lights and exploding dolls in wiener blut they continue to shock and awe. hands down best gig i have ever been to and cant wait to see them in sonisphere!!!”

And on Monday in Manchester…

Georgia ‘G’ Howson – “Fire…explosions…more fire and erm… more explosions… lasers, exploding babies with lasers for eyes… wow”

Joanne Engel Glover – “In all of my 30 odd years of seeing metal bands Rammstein are the best live act I’ve ever seen. Last night was my 2nd time and I can’t wait to see them at Sonisphere!!!!”

If you thought this was exciting, Rammstein’s performance at Sonisphere in August will be the most spectacular festival headline show of all time and will see them bringing no less than eight trucks of equipment and 21 tons of pyrotechnics! See you there.
